Memoirs of Acacia 

I am a travel journalist from Los Angeles currently based in New York City. I've been traveling for as long as I can remember. I've traveled across six continents and 38 countries, and I'm always on the lookout for my next adventure.

I am particularly passionate about how travel can be a force for good. While the social and environmental impacts will always exist, it is our responsibility as travelers and journalists to care for the planet as well as the local communities that we visit. This means choosing sustainable accommodations, supporting local businesses, and generally being more mindful.

It's not always easy and it will never be perfect, but it is something we can work towards together. I'm doing my best to share resources here. Thanks for coming along!
